Welcome to my ePortfolio, a documentation of my learning, abilities, and qualifications...
Welcome to my online ePortfolio, an online site documenting the learning of a preservice teaching, her experiences, her qualifications, and anything else related to teaching and/or learning!
Hello! I'm Shawna Bluhm. I'm a 21 year old female from a small town in Southern Manitoba. I come from a small family, consisting mainly of my mom, my younger sister, and two crazy but cute dogs. I love my family, they are so important to me!
From an educational stand-point, I completed my high-school diploma in my home town. Upon graduation I move to the city in which I have completed all of my university career. In June 2012 I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts, a pre-requisite to my being accepted into the education program at my university. My undergraduate studies focused on the area of Gender and Women's Studies with a sub-focus on English and History, my teachables. In September 2012 I began my Education After Degree. As of now, I am almost half of the way done this program and my second degree. I am getting so close to entering the "real world" and am getting more and more excited everyday! I am so excited to become a teacher and share my love of learning with others. I have always known, even as a child, that I would become a teacher. My first student teaching placement, my first real "teacher" experience, was this fall in a Grade 1 classroom and it did not only serve to teach me oh so much but also to confirm that teaching really is for me! I can't wait to have my own classroom and to share it with my future students!
